Ah, la question à 100 balles ! Bon, parlons clair. Au début, j'étais genre, "Ouais, un écran géant, trop cool !". Surtout quand tu sors du poste radio d'origine... c'est comme passer d'un smartphone à un dinosaure. Franchement, niveau look, c'est le jour et la nuit.
Avantages : Le GPS intégré, c'est une bénédiction. Fini les supports de téléphone qui vibrent et lâchent au plus mauvais moment. Le CarPlay, c'est un pur bonheur. Netflix pendant les pauses, Spotify... bref, la vie moderne dans ton utilitaire. Et le WiFi ! Pour télécharger des podcasts en vitesse... ou mater des bêtises sur YouTube quand Madame n'est pas là (chut !).

Les plus : Les cartes sont à jour, il t'indique le trafic en temps réel (enfin, presque), et tu peux facilement le contrôler avec les commandes au volant. Le son est clair, et les indications vocales sont… supportables (bon, j'ai quand même désactivé la voix de la dame, elle me stressait).
Les moins : Comme je disais, il fait parfois des siennes. Des fois, il met du temps à se connecter, surtout si tu te gares sous un pont. Et il utilise des données, donc attention à ton forfait si tu fais beaucoup de route. Et puis, y'a des journées, il a ses humeurs. Je crois qu'il s'est déjà fait la malle une fois. Je me suis retrouvé à arpenter des petits villages improbables. Et puis, il y a ce mystérieux bug, chaque fois qu'il me dit de passer à gauche, je suis sûr qu'il veut que j'aille à droite. CarPlay… Je pourrais lui faire une ode. Franchement, c'est le truc BADASS de cet écran. C'est INSTANTANÉ ! Branche ton iPhone, et hop ! Toute ta vie numérique transplantée dans ton Vito. Spotify, plans, messages… tout est à portée de main (euh, enfin, sur l'écran).
C'est FANTASTIQUE ! Surtout pour les longs trajets. Tu peux écouter tes podcasts, envoyer des messages vocaux (sans te faire griller par la maréchaussée… enfin, presque), et même répondre aux appels (enfin, si tu as un casque, sinon, je décline toute responsabilité). La qualité du son est excellente, et l'interface est intuitive. C’est PARFAIT !
La galère… je cherche encore. Non, vraiment, je ne trouve pas de points négatifs majeurs. Bon, ok, il faut un câble, et parfois, il faut le débrancher et rebrancher. Mais c'est un détail. Ah, et si ton iPhone est trop vieux, ça peut ramer un peu, mais c'est la faute d'Apple, pas de l'écran. Mais je suis exigeant.
Le plus gros atout : La sécurité. Tu peux utiliser ton iPhone sans le toucher, donc moins de distractions, et moins de risques d'accident. (même si parfois, la musique est tellement bonne que tu oublies où tu vas…)

Le WiFi… C'est comme le bon vin : ça dépend des jours. Dans l'ensemble, oui, ça fonctionne. Quand ça veut bien ! Imagine-toi en plein milieu de nulle part, avec une envie folle de regarder une vidéo de chats mignons. Tu actives le WiFi, tu te connectes, et… rien. "Pas de réseau". Le drame !
Le bon côté : Lorsque ça marche, c'est génial. Tu peux télécharger des films, écouter de la musique en streaming, travailler… enfin, si tu as vraiment envie de travailler dans ton Vito. L'installation est simple, et tu peux partager la connexion avec les passagers (si tu as des passagers, bien sûr). L’idée est là, et le potentiel énorme.
Les aléas… La portée est limitée, ne t'attends pas à avoir du WiFi à 100 mètres de ton Vito. Ça rame parfois, surtout si tu es loin d'une antenne. Et la sécurité… Ce n'est pas le point fort.
