Mais bon, le ras-le-bol des câbles qui s'emmêlent, qui se cassent, qui ne marchent JAMAIS quand tu en as vraiment besoin... ça, ça m'avait atteint. Alors, oui, c'est genre un petit boîtier EKIY qui te permet d'avoir CarPlay ou Android Auto (selon ton téléphone, hein, faut quand même pas rêver) sans brancher de fil. Le manuel est clair, mais il faut dire aussi que parfois, le manuel est plus mystérieux que la recette du Coca-Cola. J'ai dû regarder une vidéo sur YouTube pour piger un détail, mais même moi, avec mes talents de bricolage limités, j'ai réussi. Si tu sais brancher une lampe, tu devrais t'en sortir. Et si tu bloques vraiment, tu peux toujours faire appel à ton ami le geek (ou ton ado, c'est pareil).
Est-ce que la qualité audio est bonne ? On n'a pas envie d'entendre du crachotis à la place de notre musique préférée...

J'écoute Spotify, des podcasts, et je n'ai jamais noté de différence flagrante avec la connexion filaire. Et heureusement ! Parce qu'il n'y a rien de plus frustrant qu'une mauvaise qualité audio quand tu as envie de te défouler sur du métal pendant un trajet... ou de te calmer avec du classique. Au moins, sur ce point, on est tranquilles.
Y a-t-il des retards ou des temps de latence ? C'est crucial pour la navigation GPS, hein.
Alors, oui, il peut y avoir un léger retard parfois. Mais vraiment minime. Je parle d'une fraction de seconde. Rien qui te fasse rater une sortie d'autoroute. En général, ça se comporte bien. Mais attention, je crois que parfois, ça dépend aussi de la connexion Bluetooth de ton téléphone et de la qualité du signal dans ta voiture. Si tu as un téléphone de l'âge de pierre, tu risques d'avoir plus de problèmes, je crois. Et on ne va pas se mentir, le GPS est DÉPENDANT de la connexion. Une fois, j'étais persuadé que j'allais finir dans le fossé, parce que le truc ramait... Il m'a fallu un tour pour me retrouver, et c'était pas très drôle. Mais bon, maintenant, c'est rare.
Quels sont les inconvénients ? Parce qu'il doit bien y en avoir, non ? On est pas dans un monde de Bisounours.
Bien sûr, il y a des inconvénients ! Déjà, le prix. C’est pas donné, quoi. Faut se poser la question, est-ce que ça vaut vraiment le coup pour ne plus avoir de fil ? Perso, je dirais oui, parce que le côté pratique est indéniable. Mais c'est un budget, faut le dire. Ensuite, comme je l'ai dit, ça peut parfois bugger. Ça arrive moins souvent maintenant, mais ça arrive. Et il y a le risque de se sentir encore plus dépendant de la technologie... On est déjà scotchés à nos téléphones toute la journée, alors si en plus la voiture devient un prolongement de ça... limite flippant. Et enfin, il faut admettre que la vitesse de démarrage de tout ça n'est pas instantanée. Il y a un petit temps de chargement avant que tout s'affiche. Ça peut paraître anodin, mais quand on est pressé, ça peut être un peu énervant. Mais globalement, les avantages l'emportent sur les inconvénients, dans mon cas. Surtout quand tu as les mains prises, et que tu veux répondre à un appel... C'est le bonheur, crois-moi !

Alors oui et non. L'EKIY est compatible avec les deux, c'est son but, hein. Mais non, ça ne switch pas automatiquement. L'appareil reconnaîtra ton téléphone Android ou ton iPhone et utilisera le système correspondant. Donc, si tu as un iPhone, ça sera CarPlay, si tu as un Android, ça sera Android Auto. Perso, j'ai un iPhone, et je ne suis pas fana de la navigation d'Android Auto. Mais bon, c'est un détail. Je n'ai pas de double vie. Et si tu changes
